Humans have already used most of the energy resources and have now turned to a constant and never ending energy source, i.e the sun. The solar energy is converted to electric energy to fulfil the daily domestic and industrial energy requirement in the world. A photovoltaic panel is used to convert the solar energy to electric energy. In other words a solar panel is also called a photovoltaic panel or a photovoltaic module. Many solar panels combine to form a photovoltaic system. Along with the solar panels an inverter is also a part of photovoltaic system. Electricity is generated by a photovoltaic effect using the solar energy.

These days the demand of solar panels is everywhere and hence the commercial solar panels are made to suffice the increasing demand. Commercial panels are value for money and are high performance devices. It is not necessary to mention that solar energy is a constant source of energy which saves our electricity bills. Solar energy is a renewable source of energy. Major companies are aware of the contribution to the society and saving energy and cutting down to the greenhouse gases to environment. Small solar panels are used for education purpose, residential solar panels are used in houses and even bigger ones are used for commercial uses. The power of solar panels starts from 0.5 W power to 230 W. Solar photovoltaic cells are made of semiconductor material which can convert solar energy to electrical energy. The semiconductor material usually used in the solar panel is crystalline silicon. We have known the use of solar energy in the past in some calculators and watches. Many electrical vehicles are in market these days where solar energy is used in charging stations of these vehicles. The energy we get from the sun each day is unimaginable amount; per square meter we can get 1000W energy in a single day. It is a fancy dream to cut off in our electricity bills and use solar energy overall, but it is not impossible. This is definitely a cost effective process and will be for our own good.
