Generators are important device that generate a flow of electricity. The electricity thus produced is used when there is no electricity supply. It can also be used when there is no continuous supply of the electricity; however, there is utmost requirement for the same. Thus, harnessing the fundamental laws of electromagnetism, a range of generator manufacturers have come up over the years. The companies bring electricity by transforming mechanical energy to electrical energy - a scientific formula applied in generator and its functioning.

Similarly, when there is inconsistent power supply, generators come handy and provide the much needed power supply and help the users continue the production or operation. Electricity plays critical role in industrial production and for that reason it must be restored for smooth production by whatever means possible. Though efforts are made to ensure consistent power supply, for various practical reasons it is darn difficult, generators come to rescue in such difficult situations.
There are various kinds of generators, the one quite popular is, AC generator. An AC generator is single-phase or poly-phase and has limited power generation of just 25 kW or less. Generally, generating the power at a specific utilization voltage, AC generators are known for generating two or more alternating voltages i.e. 2 or 3 or 6 phases. The DC generators are classified shunt generators that work as battery chargers and exciters for AC generators. Each generator has specific requirement with respect to fuel and certain limitations with respect to power generation - these have to be understood well before buying.
