The Green Seal Standard for Lodging Properties serves as a tool for the travel industry to meet green practice goals. The standard has three levels, bronze, silver and gold, under which hotels can apply for certification. Hotels boast their Green Seal certification prominently, knowing that their customers care about the impact they make on the environment. The Green Seal organization provides a list of all certified hotels as well.
