The main reason of drop of the cost of the handset is the stiff competition between the handset manufacturers. Now, at least two to three dozens of handset manufacturers are playing in the Indian market; so the competition among the mobile phone manufacturers is nothing but cut-throat and on the other hand, the competition is even more intense among the thousands of retailer selling those mobile phones. Some retailers are offering mobile phones at insanely low price.
Now, each and every person should compare mobile phone prices before buying, as by comparing the mobile phone price, one could buy the mobile phone at a price even lower than his or her imagination.
