How to Cook Maine Lobster and Clams

If you want to give a treat to your friends then you can make some great dishes using Maine Lobster and Clams.
If you are a seafood lover then nothing can be better than preparing Maine Lobster because it is a great delicacy that can satisfy your taste buds. However, there are many people who do not know how to cook Maine Lobster so if you are planning to cook it then it is necessary for you to keep in mind some important factors.


The first tip while cooking Maine Lobster is that you must cook it as soon as you bring it because if the lobster dies it will rot immediately. But if you want to buy early and preserve the lobster then you can keep it in the refrigerator for one night.


Another important factor which needs consideration while cooking Maine lobster is that it is essential to keep it wrapped with wet paper napkins so as to keep it in moist condition all the time. Moreover, it is always advisable to keep it in the coolest place of the refrigerator. Maine Lobster can be cooked in many ways like you can steam them, grill them or even pan fry them. Steaming and grilling are the most preferred ways of cooking Maine Lobster.


However, if you want to make clams preparation then it is very important to decide what you want to prepare. Here is a very simple recipe- first, buy live Clams and make sure all of them are alive. Soak them in cold water and remove all the dirt, sand from them and clean them properly. Then for the steaming process the ingredients which are required are butter- three tablespoons, one small onion- chopped, three cloves of garlic- minced, half cup parsley- chopped, half teaspoon of red pepper flakes, one fourth cup of extra virgin olive oil and half cup dry white wine.


Then melt butter in a pan on an oven and sauté the onion and garlic until they become soft. Add the other ingredients like parsley, red pepper flakes, oil and wine and boil it, then place the Clams in the pan and cover it with a lid and steam for not less than eight minutes on low heat until they open. Finally, transfer the Clams into a bowl and keep them as well as the sauce aside. Then boil some spaghetti in water with a little bit of salt until they become soft. Finally, serve the spaghetti in a serving dish; put the sauce over it and place the Clams around it and Clam Pasta is ready.
