1. First open your Outlook Page:

There will also be verification methods which you will need to choose. These are the verification methods that will be asked:
• Email verification–If you have a secondary email id, the reset code will be sent to this email Id and once you click on the link, you will be redirected to the page which will ask you to reset your password and then you can access your account.
• You can use an app- If you have downloaded the Microsoft Account app, you will be able to generate a unique code which will then help you get back your account in a jiffy. This method is very easy and you should easily get back your account if you use this app.
• Text message- This method will be useful if you have a cell phone number associated with the email account. Microsoft would then text you a unique code which will be used to verify your identity. You will have to use this phone number 1-855-720-4168 to get the unique code.
Thus, you see that the method to get back the Hotmail account password is not at all difficult and those users who have used Gmail and have lost their password will be able to see the similarities in order to get back your password. Once you get it back, remember to keep it strong but at the same time a little difficult so that anybody won’t be able to crack it.
