Caution- Do not scrape the grease away with metal utensils.

Nail polish- Remove the polish by applying bit of scouring powder and water into a paste. Be careful not to rub forcefully as it may cause abrasions on the floor.

Ink- These stains are generally removed with water and detergent.

For stubborn ink stains, you may need to add a little detergent or ink remover to cloth in order to remove the stain completely.

Heel Marks and Scuffs- Simply rub the eraser over these marks until they lift off the laminate.

Chewing Gum- Scrape the gum with plastic knife and wipe the residue with soft cloth dampened with mineral spirits.

Caution- Should not use metal knife as it is too rough and it is most likely to scratch the floor.

Keep your Laminate Floors Looking New-

Floor cleaners, Murphy’s oil soaps or any other liquid cleaning materials are not recommended to use as they can leave a dull soapy scum, which could cause swelling/ warping of your floor.

Do not use abrasive cleaners or strong chlorinated type cleaners.

For spots and spills, spray window cleaner and wipe off with a soft cloth.

Note- Do not use excess window cleaners that contain ammonia, as excess ammonia can strip away the protective sealant on laminate floors.

Swab water and other marks quickly as excess water on your laminate can damage your floors. These floors do not require waxing that could result in dull glimpse.

Do use area rugs or carpet runners especially in high traffic areas to prevent skids and falls.

Avoid using high heels as they might cause indentations on your flooring.

To prevent surface damage never drag furniture on wood floors.

Use floor protectors under furniture legs to prevent scuffs and scratches.
