Cormar Carpets was established in Lancashire, England in 1956 and is today recognised as one of the leading British carpet manufacturers in the UK.

Cormar Carpets value the good reputation they have built up over the past 50 years for quality carpets, excellent service and reliability. Businesses, householders and local authorities are looking for better alternatives to the 500,000 tonnes of carpet waste that is buried in UK landfills each year and to do this, new technologies and markets for carpet recyclate are needed to ensure that this growing demand for carpet recycling can be met. Carpets are made from natural and synthetic fibres, which still have a value once the carpet is no longer wanted as they can be used in a wide range of applications from sports surfaces to insulation. Cormar Carpets have a comprehensive range of plain and heather wool twist piles, textured loop piles and easy clean polypropylene carpets which are all manufactured on site at the two mills. Cormar Carpets use only the best quality yarns in 100% pure new wool, 80% woolblends and easy clean polypropylene. Most of Cormar Carpets ranges are available in both four and five metre widths for carpeting wider rooms without joins.
