The profession of law opens up an avenue for a career aspirant to be a part of the nation building. It is a mammoth task and accomplishing it takes time and earnest effort. Purifying the society by destroying the evils is a part of the nation-building program. Fulfilling this toughest task rests upon the shoulders of the lawyers. LLB Course: Confluence of Many a Subject
An LLB aspirant must be prepared to be jack as well as master of all trades. The course includes in-depth and extensive discussions upon a myriad of subjects. The students must possess profound knowledge about literature, political science, economics, religions, history and must have strong communication skill. An analytical bent of mind and power of quick decision-making are two must-have criteria to get success in this field.
LLB program: Eligibility Criteria
The students must complete the basic education to pursue the LLB course. Most of the educational establishments conduct entrance tests to filter out the eligible candidates. In some countries, a national board is built up to take charge of arranging the test throughout all the states. The test is often followed by the group discussion and interview for the final selection. Some institutes require a certain percentage of marks in the aggregate in the undergraduate or graduate examination to appear for the selection test. Most of the time, the requisite mark is pegged at 50%. The undergraduates can also take admission to the top-up degree programs which are considered equivalent to bachelor degree to be eligible for the qualifying examination.
Study of LLB: Path to Success
The LLB students can join the bar council after successful completion of the course. In some countries, they have to clear the qualifying exams to get the membership. After joining the bar, the law graduates have to undergo the licensing session where the skill, capability of taking responsibility, professional ethics etc. are tested.
