Lava mobiles has launched their first Android Smartphone, the LAVA S12 that is powered by Android 2.2

Another Indian brand which manage to leave a mark in the domestic market is Lava. It is comparatively new then most of the brands prevailing in the market. Discussing ahead, this Lava mobile comes with a 3.2 inch screen with a screen resolution of 480 X 320 pixels resolution. The screen is capacitive touch type supporting multi-touch and featuring accelerometer & proximity sensor. The new Lava S12 sports an impressive 5 MP camera with 2 X digital zoom and capable of recording videos at 480p. As fas as memory is concerned it is built with 150 MB of memory along with a 2 GB card on board, which can be further expanded up to 32 GB.

For music and entertainment Lava S12 is packed with music player, FM radio and Games. It has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, USB 2.0 and GPS as the major connectivity features in it. It comes pre-installed with Saavn, TuneWiki, Advanced Task Killer, Office Suite, Zenga TV (with one year free subscription) and MoneyControl apps. It also come with Social Networking apps like Facebook, Twitter and Nimbuzz along with some Google apps like Gmail, Google Maps and Google Talk. Lava S12 is a mid-tier phone available at very reasonable price.
