It is not too difficult to hear of stupid laws in the modern era. Owing to the high stress levels people are driven to many eccentric acts. Consequently the governments have formulated several laws. These laws however, make little sense and are popularly known as stupid laws.

These laws however, make little sense and are popularly known as stupid laws. This article will deal with such stupid laws in the country that has been introduced by the government.

In Alabama, a person cannot apply salt on the railway tracks and drive a car by being blindfolded. Interesting but stupid! Stupid laws of the country includes not being able to sell peanuts after sunset in Lee Country on Wednesdays and putting on fake moustaches in the church.

Looking at a moose from an aircraft is punishable by law in Alaska. You will be surprised to know that waking up a sleeping bear to click its photographs is not acceptable in Alaska. These stupid acts had been done by some citizen, which led the government to impose such stupid laws in the country. A country like Arkansas has imposed a law that states that one cannot mispronounce the name of the country while being there.

West Virginia has witnessed the formulation of some of the stupidest of laws in the country. It is deemed illegal if a child goes to school with onion breadth or if a man carries an ice cream cone on a Sunday in his pocket. Owing to the tradition of women wearing long gowns, a man is not supposed to spit on the pavements.

Louisiana will probably top the charts if one talks of stupid laws. One is not allowed to get a hair cut on holidays, Mondays and Sundays. This does not include the trimming and getting sideburns shaped. Such laws are based on some insensible logic.

Riding a motorbike over 65 miles an hour is illegal in Connecticut. While in Florida if the hair dresser or the customer falls asleep while getting the hair dried, she will be fined. Some of these laws are funny and baseless. In Florida if an elephant is stationed in the parking space, he has to pay the parking charge that is required for a car. In Miami, parking an elephant after 1 pm on a Sunday is punishable by law.

Some stupid laws include not being allowed to imitate an animal, not being able to have sexual intercourse with a porcupine or not being able to purchase alcohol before 1 pm on Sundays in Coral Gables. In California if a man interrupts a child while leaping over a muddy puddle, he will be punished. Eating oranges in the bath-tub is also considered illegal. In Vermont a husband has to give a written permission to his wife if she wants to have false teeth. Else the wife will be fined. In Hawaii it is illegal not to possess a boat.

These laws simply have no significance but have still been introduced and so citizens have no other way than following these laws.
