Day 02: Enjoy a good morning breakfast from hotel and get ready for sight seeing in Manas. Manas holiday package will start its journey by visiting Manas National Park. As per studies, park is the homeland of 380 species of birds, 50 species of reptiles, 55 species of mammals and over 4 species of amphibians. This park is considered as the previous hunting reserve of Cooch Behar royal family. Mothanguri Forest Bungalow provided inside sanctuary allows tourists to stay inside park. Day 03: After breakfast, you can get ready for enjoying the sight scenes of Manas National Park. Park got its name from Manas River, named after serpent goddess Manasa. Leisure activities in park like raft riding on the Manas River, elephant rides and forest safari widens the interests of tourists. You can see Agrang village inside this National Park. According to studies, it is found that there are more than 56 villages surrounding the park. Park stretches over Udalgiri, Darrang, Baksa, Chirang and Kokrajhar districts of Assam. It is opened for tourists from the month of November to April and closed during the remaining period due to heavy rainfall. You can take powerful binoculars with night vision facilities for viewing wildlife at the park.
