A low slope contains around 3:12 pitch. It means that for 12 feet roof rises 3 feet. In this case, the multiplier lies between 1.15 to 1.25 times of ground square.
A roof which is having medium slope falls in 6:12-9:12 range. This means that the multiplier lies between 1.25 to 1.4 according to the steepness of roof.
Roofs having greater than 9:12 pitch fall under high sloped category. Roofing multiplier varies from 1.41 to 1.7 approximately.
