Catheter marking is a laser marking technology used in the medical industry for the detection of many diseases like cardiovascular diseases. Marking catheters are widely used for safe usage that the thin bands of colored shrink catheter tubes are used for marking.
The new generation of plastic, laser mark systems has made a great impact in the field of material manufacturing. These advanced laser marking and laser engraving systems have driven a strong demand for printing solutions in many industries. Due to when the evolution of new technologies and the demand for quick and ease production in many industries there have been using a wide verity applications like the marking technologies for marking or identification printing on metal surfaces. The catheter tube is manufactured and used world wide for marking catheters. For the visualization and identification of lumens are using the catheter mark systems in multi lumen Brachytherapy that these systems has a great role in facilitate the visualization of such lumens. The multi-lumen brachytherapy devices are using to modifying the features of one lumens relative to others. That means the process of marking on a lumen or the composition of the lumen etc are done with the use of these systems. Catheters are widely used in the diagnostic evaluation of balloon angioplasty and for the deployment of stents in coronary arteries. In these areas the uses of catheters actually enables to easily seen on x-rays and fluoroscopes during critical interventional procedures. However, for the determination of positioning of stents on an x-ray film is difficult in these cases the practitioners using catheters that incorporate markers.

A marking catheter which made out of a flexible material and having a closed distal end and an open proximal end block the transmission of x-rays and make appear it as contrasting images. By using a frameless stereotaxy system we can position a marking catheter to accurately define an area which defined in pre-operative imaging. That means it can be more helpful to define physically the margins of a brain lesion in lesion removal. During lesion removal a flexible marking catheter will move with any brain shift and thus the marking catheters help to maintain an accurate indication of the lesion margin. One of the marking catheter the Epidural catheters have a smooth tip to minimize the cause of trauma during the insertion of catheters and to facilitate accurate catheter positioning.
