I couldn’t believe it when I read that for the first time, the Mercedes Benz SLK Roadster will be available with a 204hp four cylinder diesel engine, which offers fuel consumption of 56.5mpg on the combined cycle, 500Nm of torque and a 0-62mph time of 6.7 seconds on to a top speed of 150mph.

Past few weeks I have been thinking about buying a car from my local dealer but now I’m thinking I want the new Mercedes Benz SLK 250 CDI, which is equipped with the 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission with start/stop technology, and a six speed manual transmission that will be available in the second quarter of 2012.
The Mercedes Benz SLK 250 CDI is the most economical roadster in its segment with fuel efficiency of 56.5mpg and CO2 emissions of 132g/km.
The Mercedes Benz SLK 250 CDI is available with a choice of three versions of the vario-roof, out of the three choices I have decided I will go for the panoramic vario-roof with MAGIC SKY CONTROL, as it allows the glass roof to be changed from dark to transparent at the touch of a button.

There are also three suspension versions available: conventional steel suspension, a sports suspension with a stiffer spring and damper setup or a suspension with an electronically controlled, fully automatic damping system.
