This year the Indian car market is flooding with many new cars as almost every minor and major player in car manufacturing is introducing its new car.

This year the Indian car market is flooding with many new cars as almost every minor and major player in car manufacturing is introducing its new car. In this series the German car manufacturer Audi is also planning to launch its brand new car Audi A6 this year in the Indian car market. Earlier there had been many rumors regarding the new Audi A6 launch. It was speculated that the new Audi A6 launch will launch in the month of September but now Audi India officials has made a confirmation on the date of launch. Now the new Audi A6 launch is scheduled on August 3 of this year. The new Audi A6 is the makeover of the existing version of sedan. It is expected that under the hood of modifications the new A6 is expected to loose some weight. Speculations are there that the new Audi A6 will be 80 Kg lighter than the current Audi A6. Audi, the wholly-owned Volkswagen subsidiary, has launched a wide range of cars under its portfolio in India including from the crossover SUVs to its supermini. Talking about the New Audi A6 price it is expected that it will fall in the range of Rs 30 lakh to Rs 40 lakh.

On the contrary to the slowdown in the production of car market, the luxury car market grows remarkably in India. The petrol and interest rates hike are some of the major reasons of such complex behavior in the Indian car market. These factors has made the grounds for the popularity of luxury cars in India, and that moment Audi A6 launch is the most awaiting event for the luxury car lovers. Mercedes E class and BMW 5 series are the major rivals of Audi A6. But new Audi A6 review reveals that with attractive and affordable price tag Audi India is all set to raise the competition to a new level.

The new Audi A6 is likely to be available in four versions viz: petrol, diesel and the Quattro. It is expected that the petrol variant of new Audi A6 will dress up with a 2.8 FSI and 3.0 supercharged TFSI petrol engine. Whereas the diesel variant is likely composed of a 2.0 TDI engine. The other version will housed with a Quattro engine. Talking about its features it is assumed that the new Audi A6 will borrow some features from its predecessor Audi A8. Along with this the engine start and stop mechanism and seven speed dual clutch gearbox are some of its unique features. Audi India includes all range of cars under its fleet like recently launched Audi A7, Audi A8, Audi A4. The sports cars include Audi R8, Audi Q7, Audi Q5, Audi RS5 and Audi TT.
