Good managers are never born, they are made. Apart from the hardcore methodological characteristics that you learn in management skills training sessions, there are some behavioral traits that make you an excellent manager. Here are some to look at:
Inspire a Vision
An impressive manager can create new vision and articulate it to team mates and inspire their involvement. Empower your work force to feel they share a genuine stake in the project; let them envision their own future as a part of your team or organization. Lift your team up!
Be an Effective Communicator
During customer service training, aspirants are trained to communicate with individuals at every echelon! You need to be clear and communicative about your goals, performance, responsibility and expectations. Be a link between your team and organization. Develop the ability to negotiate and persuade for team achievement.
Be enthusiastic
Enthusiasm and positivity go hand in hand. Practice “we can do it” attitude and be committed to your goals and you would pass on those same levels of commitment and perseverance to your team. Involve your work force in the invigorating journey towards setting goals and accomplishing those goals.
Bring Integrity
Create standards and live up to those standards by your words and deeds. Maintain an ethical behavior and also reward the team members who exemplify these standards. Be honest with your team and earn their trust.

Show your ability to inspire, challenge, enable and be a model to encourage. Demonstrate your technical and non-technical skills that you might have acquired during administrative assistant training to be competent enough.
Be Cool Even Under Pressure
Perfect conditions can occur anywhere but hardly in the life of a manger. Pressures would always be there but you display your best capabilities to overcome it evenly. Make challenges interesting and influence an opportunity to turn into a favorable outcome.
Be a Problem Solver
If you have 3, your team members may have 300 reasons why a task can’t be done. Focus on solutions and provide your team adequate logic to keep digging until they hit the pot of gold.
If “The best manager wins” is the name of the game, a lot can be grasped beyond typical supervisory training sessions.
