If you discarded this packaging, you can get boxes that will fit these items from a local office supply store or from your New York movers. Make sure the box with packaging holds your computer and your accessories snuggly so that they do not move in transit. Mark the cables that you unplugged from the computer so that you know what accessory it went to before you pack them. If you are packing a printer, remove the print cartridges and dispose of them. If you do not have it, wrap it in bubble wrap so that the front of the monitor does not get scratched. LCD monitors should also be packed upright in the box so that the liquid inside of it does not move or leak. You should also pack your computer in an upright position or on its side so that the motherboard is laying flat. This will help keep sensitive chips from coming loose during shipment. Make sure you mark the boxes so that they remain right side up and with their contents.
