Patnitop, else known as Patni Top is a popular tourist destination located in Jammu and Kashmir. This fabulous place in Udhampur district is one among the favorite destinations of nature lovers and adventure seekers. Day 01: Upon arrival at Jammu Airport, representatives from tourism department will transfer you to pre booked hotel in Patnitop. Have dinner and stay overnight at hotel.
Day 02: After having breakfast in the early morning, Patnitop holiday package will start its journey by exploring historic Bahu Fort and Temple. This temple built before three thousand years was erected by Raja Bahulochan. It is considered as the oldest fort in the city of Jammu. Bahu temple situated on the left bank of river Tawi has been rebuilt by Dogra rulers. After viewing Bahu Fort and Temple, tour trip will now move on to Raghunath Temple. This temple located in Patnitop city is dedicated to Lord Rama. Construction of Raghunath Temple was started by Maharaja Gulab Singh and was completed by his son Maharaja Ranbir Singh. Inner walls of temple covered with gold sheets presents real feast for eyes. In the late evening, tour trip will return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03: Post breakfast from hotel, tour trip will focus on the holy cave shrine of Vaishno Devi. This tourist place is one of the holiest Hindu pilgrim centres dedicated to goddess Sakhti. Vaishno Devi, located at a height of 5200 feet above sea level is 61 km north of Jammu. Buddha Amarnath Temple is another destination explored in Patnitop holiday package. It is a popular temple located on the foothills, unlike most temples which are on hilltops. Natural white stone shivaling is another special feature of Amaranth Temple. Day 04: Fourth day of Patnitop holiday package will start its journey by visiting Sudh Mahadev located at an altitude of 1225 m. You can reach this destination by traveling 45 km from Patnitop. Sudh Mahadev Temple was built by Chaudhari Ramdas of Chanhani and his son Chaudari Prayag Mahajan about 80 years ago. Shivaratri festival conducted here attracts lots of devotees from all over the globe. In the late evening tour trip will return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
