Keeping with head chef Anthony Zallo’s motto, “Simple Foods Done Well”, Bigelow grille downtown effortlessly combines simplicity with elegance. The ingredients used at Bigelow Grille are all locally grown and organic. Zallo believes that using only the freshest, most natural ingredients straight from Mother Earth herself helps give his dishes the purest flavors possible. The menu also features seasonal offerings throughout the year to highlight certain fruits and vegetables when they are at their finest. During the summer months, be sure to try the summer berry lemon tart.

Though his roots are Italian, Zallo’s menu features Contemporary American cuisine laced with flavors of the Mediterranean including salads, sandwiches, and hearty entrees featuring pastas, meats and seafood. And don’t be fooled by the simplicity of the dishes and their presentation. The food at Bigelow Grille is filled with surprisingly rich flavors.

Some of the most notable dishes on the menu include flash-seared calamari, fried oysters, lobster ravioli, roasted Atlantic halibut, wild Alaskan king salmon, and Colorado organic lamb loin. And vegetarians need not worry about being relegated to a simple lettuce and tomato salad. Bigelow offers a number of unique salads such as the roasted heirloom beet and goat cheese salad. Vegetarian friendly entrees are in no shortage, either. Try the tagliatelle with san marzano tomatoes, garlic, chick peas and spinach, or even Zallo’s very own homemade gnocchi with thyme butter, spring peas, chanterelle mushrooms, and local feta.

To fully compliment the flavors of your meal, Bigelow Grille features an extensive wine list.

Chef Zallo and his team continuously strive to make improvements and perfect their menu. It is not uncommon for Zallo to try several variations of a recipe before he is satisfied with the final product. If he doesn’t believe a dish has achieved perfection, Zallo will pull it from the menu. The high standards Zallo has set for his food sets Bigelow Grille apart from other establishments in the city, giving guests a true 4-star dining experience.

Bigelow grille Hilton is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the bar is open Sunday through Thursday until midnight and Friday and Saturday until 1:30 a.m.
