What the laser do in ophthalmology?

The laser has existed since the year 1970 including the laser argon (noble gas), widely used in the prevention of retinal detachment. It is a tool for the treatment of diabetic retinal vessels, where it change to a solid or semisolid state altered by the disease.

Another method is to obtain an alternate vision as in contact lens wearers. One eye for distance vision and second for near vision.
Finally, there are lens implants that require removal of the lens. But in the field of presbyopia, the quality of vision is sometimes disrupted by the halos at night (less than 10% of cases).
