While all the other mobile phone deals including the contract phone deals, SIM free deals and the pay as you go mobile phone deals all have one or the other thing to do with the mobile phone handset, it is the SIM only deals that solely concerned itself with only the network service connection. And that is about it. Since the SIM only deals offer the network service connection and nothing else, the network service providers who offer the same are able to do so at doubly cheap prices.
The SIM only deals are the stable diet or, in other words, the most basic of all the services that the network service carriers provide to the mobile phone market place. And they gladly do so at prices that are next to nothing by any standards. And the associated factors like any network service connection can work with any mobile phone or smartphone handset and number portability have only added to their charm and value in the minds of the countless number of mobile phone users.
Not surprisingly, UK's official telecoms regulatory body Ofcom had come out with a guideline a few months earlier that openly recommended users to go in for the SIM only deals. The reasons that the regulatory watchdog stated was obvious. The SIM only deals allows the customers to evaluate the quality and value that each network carriers extends and accordingly arrive at the right choice of network operator for themselves. Then, they are also at liberty to buy any smartphone handset of their choice any time at all.
These features are unlike what happens if the buyer signs into a contract wherein he or she is bound to the same network carrier till the end of the contract period and also the same smartphone handset. The bigger amount of money is, of course, fixed for the handset. Here again, the SIM only deals allow the user to buy it at a time when they really can.
Probably a combination of SIM only deals and SIM free deals is the right way to go.
The network service providers without exception (Vodafone, Virgin Mobile, T-Mobile, Talkmobile, Three Mobile, O2 and Orange) all offer various SIM only deals that these days also include internet data as well. The deals are offered for weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
It is the monthly SIM only deals that are more popular as a monthly is sufficient enough time for most users to decide one way or the other which network carrier they would like to continue with. The SIM only deals for a month costs anything from £ 10 to £ 20 per month.
