• Changes in sleep: In SAD, patients sleeping much more than usual.
• Changes in eating: Mostly craving simple carbohydrates (i.e., comfort foods and sugary foods); tendency to overeat , which could result in weight gain during the winter months.
• Difficulty concentrating: Facing more trouble than usual completing assignments on time; lack of usual motivation.
• Less time socializing: mostly spending less time with friends in social or extracurricular activities.

What Causes SAD?
Human brain is photosensitive and In rear region of globe, where sun is hard to appear during day time, for most of the time in a year, lack of sunlight creates mood swings and depression in the body due to which that particular area people suffered from typical type of problem known as S.A.D(Seasonal Affective Disorder).
How to Cure SAD?
SAD effect can easily control by Light Therapy. In light therapy, Patient sit or work near a device called a light therapy box and that box gives off bright light that which is similar to natural outdoor light. Light therapy is thought to affect brain chemicals linked to mood, easing SAD symptoms. Light therapy is also known as Bright Light Therapy or Phototherapy.
