We have seen countless number of mobile phone models that came into the market recently which claim to be the "iPhone killers". Though these mobile phones are termed as iPhone killers, they are not living up to the name.

For the moment of truth, none of these phones recently launched were able to make it anywhere near the popularity that the iPhone has created. While iPhone has dominated the PDA market, Samsung comes up with a new solution to overcome the performance and classy looks of the mighty iPhone. Samsung has named the solution as "Tocco". Samsung Tocco is now available in the market and so it's time to compare the mighty iPhone with the Royale new comer.
No More Unlocking
Network selection is the main problem associated with the iPhone. The freedom to select your preferred network is not easy with the world famous PDA. Though there are many unlocking solutions that enable the iPhone to be used with any preferred network, there are many restrictions with the features. When it comes to the new Samsung Tocco, you are free to use it with any network. You can prefer the O2 network if you need some free calls and text messages. If you buy it, O2 network is generous enough to offer 400 minutes of talk time and 400 text messages. Hence, in the case of selection of network, the Royale Samsung Wins.
Tough Choice To Make Considering Features & Performance
To be honest, it will be very hard to make a choice between iPhone and Samsung Tocco while considering the features. Both the models come with full touch screen. The full touch screen models have received huge popularity since the launch of iPhone. Comparing the touch screens of both the phones, it seems to respond to the taps better than the iPhone. The camera of the new comer is excellent when compared to the reigning champion. The lack of mms in the iPhone let's iPhone one more step down.
The Looks
Samsung Tocco has a royal look. This new comer is card sized and can be easily accommodated in you jean pocket. Thankfully, Tocco doesn't create a projection in your skin-tight jeans. For the eyes of the iPhone fans, Samsung Tocco won't seem to be good enough tough. However, Samsung Tocco is really a great looking phone with an excellent brushed aluminium exterior.
Bottom Line
Samsung Tocco cannot be termed as an "iPhone killer". However, this new comer is atleast similar to iPhone in the case of performance and looks. Samsung Tocco is really worth to be said as a competitor to the mighty iPhone.
