As a collector and a craft enthusiast, I am open to designs and techniques and valuable collection with regards to shot glasses. I have a huge collection of them and some of them are collector's items which I will take to my grave. Apart from collecting them, I also make my own. These are categorized under wholesale shot glasses where I make at least 6 to 12 glasses per set.

When selling wholesale, there are a number of factors to consider: How much time and effort are you willing to put into the sale? What are your primary objectives: "to get rid of them all" or "to get the most money?" Selling wholesale as one lot is the fastest way, but selling one large lot will probably not bring in the most money. When you sell wholesale, you prices aren't supposed to be pricey. Most people will buy wholesale because they have the idea of buying a lot of a cheaper price.

Your wholesale shot glasses need to be well marketed in order to make a profit. You can market your glasses at gift shops or stores that cater to glass ware, drink ware, party and wedding favors as well as stores that support handmade crafts. Meet with owners of these stores together with a sample of your glasses and your contact card. It is best to do this during weekdays as most stores are busier during the weekends and after office hours. Also, when meeting them, look clean and professional. You are artsy and all but keep the paint brushes and spotted overalls at home.

Apart from selling your wholesale shot glasses to local craft and gift shops, you can also expand your market through advertising using brochures and the internet. If you have the budget, create a website, and, if not, a blog will do since blogs are free. Word of mouth is also a good advertising means. You can organize a party at home distribute them complete with your business name and contact details. Allow the guests to bring it home as it can also be a party favor and you would be surprised how far this marketing scheme will take you.

Before you start acquiring clients, get your prices fixed. If one glass costs $2, then its wholesale value would be $4. Wholesale is the price charged to shop owners to resell the items but then, the retail price will be twice the wholesale price, or in this example, $6. Payment methods should also be identified when orders are placed. Several payment methods are Cash-On-Delivery, or through check, mail order and even through online payment gateways. This is your business in wholesale shot glasses so if a potential buyer decides not to buy, just smile and say thank you for their time. Being thick skinned and having perseverance is needed in this business and when someone says no, look forward to other opportunities coming your way. Also, when a buyer declines your products, you can ask them why just to improve on your designs and methods.
