The well noted chef enticed millions with his variation bringing cuisines of various states. People glued in front of their TV sets and wrote every ingredient added to spice the dish. They were really tempting, as people knew various dishes made of a single vegetable. Similar to it, the actor of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar was invited to play the host of a cookery show known as "Master Chef India" which was aired by Star Plus USA. He was roped with chefs, Ajay Chopra and Kunal Kapoor who judged every dish and based on it the contestants were awarded with marks. Due to its immense popularity, the show resumed with the next season and currently, running successfully on the same TV channel.

The cookery shows are nothing but they are ways to get new concepts and entertain people. Generally, audiences are driven to adapt new things and cookery shows serves the same in getting a different genre for regular viewers. Many South Asian Channels have started with the same formula and gained instant popularity. The TV shows are nothing special but acts like a diversion from the regular daily soaps, enticing people through their dish and giving a different flavor to splice with your regular dish.
