Additionally, it is simple to use thanks to a host of built in features such as fixed focus, face detection and dual-LED flash. Not only do these features simplify the task of taking quality photos, but they also ensure the best results are attained. Naturally, the camera can also shoot video footage and this is in no less than 720p HD.

The Nokia X7 sees the introduction of the new Symbian Anna OS. Offering several upgrades over the previous Symbian 3 platform which is found in the likes of the N8 and E7, it works in harmony with a 680 MHz processor to provide a customizable and interactive user experience.

In terms of the applications provided as standard, it has pretty much everything you would expect from a new smartphone; Adobe flash compatibility, Microsoft Office document viewer and comprehensive social networking integration to name but a few, goes to show the versatility of this handset.

The Nokia X7 provides an ideal alternative for those who are looking for something different to the usual Apple and HTC devices that currently dominate the market.
