Tiffin boxes come in different colors in the market. When we say dabbas, then usually they come in two to three tiers but when we say tiffin box then we mean a single box made of either tin or hard plastic and used for keeping a small quantity of food.
Tiffin carriers are opened by loosening a small catch on the either sides of the handle and then removing it. In the city of Mumbai there is a complex low-tech system of delivering dabbas to city office-workers or at homes from the suburban homes by delivery teams of some or many known as dabbawalas. When it comes to fashion with stuffs like water bottles, tiffin boxes and bags, then fashion conscious students are easy to find out.
When other students are dressed in their school uniforms, the fashion conscious students make it sure that the buttons of their shirts are different from others, their shoes are polished, uniform is fully ironed and badge and belt is nicely polished. It becomes quite easier to spot them out from a huge crowd. Like everything else, they also show their fashion through their colorful and trendy tiffin boxes, water bottles and bags of a variety of designs. The craze of colorful and different shaped tiffin boxes are found mostly among the girl students.
