Verizon Droid RAZR is the newest model of the 4G LTE device, made available by Verizon. It is the slimmest 4G LTE phone ever made. Some of it’s unique qualities are as below.

Verizon Droid RAZR is the newest model of the 4G LTE device, made available by Verizon. It is the slimmest 4G LTE phone ever made. Some of it’s unique qualities are as below:
Operating System:
• The current operating system on the phone is Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Motorola User Interface. It will be upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in 2012.
• The phone has some of Motorola’s awesome widgets.
• Pre installed apps include but are not limited to the following: Google App Suite, GoToMeeting, Guided Tours, has Amazon Kindle, Blockbuster, Device Setup, MOTOPrint, Music, My Accounts, My Verizon, Netflix, NFL Mobile, Video Surf, VZ Navigator, Smart Actions, Gallery, IM, Let’s Golf 2, MOTOACTV, Mobile Hotspot, Quick Office.
• One of the apps made available is Smart Actions. This app allows the user to set it to Wi-Fi or to make it go into silent mode as required. Also, if the user is busy and cannot receive an important call, this app makes it possible to send an automated message that the user will call back as soon as possible.
Hardware
• The display is 4.3 inch Super AMOLED qHD Display. It is a PenTile Display. The surface is made of Corning Gorilla Glass which is scratch resistant.
• The resolution is 960 X 450
• The screen is not one of the best ones available in cell phones these days but it still is fairly good. It is the same as the one on the Droid Bionic.
• It offers a 1GB RAM and 1.2 GHz Processor.
• It runs on 4G LTE Network which is a very fast Verizon network.
• It offers an 8GB memory storage option and a 16 GB microSD card also comes with it.
• 8 mega-pixel camera on the back also has an LED flash built in. The camera works great with the recoding capacity of 1080 pHD video. The video quality is excellent.
• 1.3 mega-pixel camera is on the front, which makes it easy to video chat or take personal photos.
Design:
• It is the one of the lightest and slimmest 4G LTE Smartphone available in the market at the moment. The maximum thickness of the model is 10.6 mm.
• Power/sleep and volume buttons are on the right side of the phone.
• 4G LTE SIM Card and micro SD card are present on the left side of the phone.
• Headphone jack, micro USB port and mini HDMI port is located on the top of the phone.
• At the top of the screen is the port for the headset. Also, close by are the Motorola logo and the front 1.3 mega-pixel camcorder.
• Verizon logo and the Android buttons are under the screen.
• 8 mega-pixel HD camera with LED Flash, Verizon logo and the speaker are located at the back.
• The back is a Kevlar back, which is surrounded by a plastic aluminum covering.
• The overall design is really nice, in spite of the fact that it is a top quality cell phone with some plastic parts.
In short Verizon Droid RAZR is a great phone. It offers the cutting edge technology, apps and hardware to the users and this comes with the slimmest model of a phone ever made available in the market. It costs $299.99 with a 2-year Verizon contract. The price without contract is $649.99.
