It is the story of a New York citizen who moves to L.A. to housesit for his brother and strikes up a romance with his brother’s assistant. Ben Stiller stars as Roger Greenberg, an out-of-job and down-on-luck brother who agrees to housesit for his much successful younger brother in L.A. with nothing much to do, he starts spending time with his brother’s assistant, Florence, played by Greta Gerwig, who is another kind soul. The story progresses through a number of awkward situations that arise between Greenberg and Florence and culminates with Greenberg finally finding happiness.
The film has been directed by Noah Baumbach who has also written the screenplay along with Jennifer Jason Leigh. The supporting cast has actors like Rhys Ifans, Chris Messina, Susan Traylor, etc. The movie has been rated R by the censor board for showing drug use, etc.
This ‘feel-good’ romantic drama is bound to relax you when you watch it. But if you do not want to go to the trouble of getting the tickets or going to a theater to watch the movie, do not give up.
