It has a 3.0’’ LCD display that is embedded on the cover and its easy scroll wheel makes it easier to operate. Apart from the standard connectivity options of all SELPHY models which include PictBridge, USB, memory card slots, and optional Bluetooth, this device also has infrared connectivity.
The SELPHY ES40 also is unique with its egg-shaped design and an integrated carrying handle. The AC adapter of the printer is also integrated, unlike most models. The 3.5’’ embedded LCD and the easy scroll wheel makes operation easier, as well as the voice command feature of the device. There are also photo printing programs in the device including DIGIC II, Creative Print, and Gold/Silver Print.
The SELPHY ES3 has an appearance very much like the ES40 model with the inclusion of an easy scroll wheel and 3.5’’ LCD display. But this model doesn’t have DIGIC II even though it has the other two photo printing programs. Its built-in memory makes it ideal for saving photos for future use.
