A dish of Lobster: This new and delicious technique of cooking lobster is inherited from the European Settlers and this is a luscious combination of seafood with corn and potatoes. To prepare this dish, take potatoes, clams and mussels and wash them nicely. Now take an onion and peel it off and also remove the top ears of the corn, remember not to remove the husks of the corn.
Every country has its own traditional ways to cook and add a new flavor to the cuisine. There are some special methods or say few exceptional species that are used differently. Same is the New England Clambake, a traditional way of cooking seafood such as lobsters, mussels, crabs, steamers and quahogs. This is a special method of cooking foods which generally happens during festivals or occasions in the coasts of New England. There are various methods of cooking for different seafood, and some of the New England Clambake ways to cook the seafood are listed below.

To prepare this dish, take potatoes, clams and mussels and wash them nicely. Now take an onion and peel it off and also remove the top ears of the corn, remember not to remove the husks of the corn.

Now take two pieces of foil and put two piece of cheesecloth upon it. Wrap this around one lobster with potatoes, clams, mussels, an ear of corn, an onion and some seaweed and lastly add a cup of water to it. Carefully, tie the cloth and seal the foil nicely. Now, mix all six of these ingredients and place them on a barbecue grill above four inch from the heat. Do cover the grill with a piece of foil in and around its edges. Let it steam for around one hour and flip them at an interval of 15 minutes, if they are done then serve it with a lemon wedges and melted butter.

Clambake on Stove: This traditional clambake is a delicious combination of lobster, clams and corns which is cooked on stove. Take a steamer with a pinch of salt in it. Now take spinach and divide it equally, add salt to all its parts. Place one quarter of it in a steamer and cosy up the lobster on top. Now cover it with another layer of the spinach and place the corns on it. Now cover the corn with the spinach and spread the clams over it. Again cover the clams with spinach. Cover the steamer and boil it on high heat and steam it for 30 to 45 minutes till the shells of clams opens up. Now serve the dish with melted butter and enjoy this traditional clambake.
