Massage Therapy’s Role in Complementary and Alternative Medicine
There are a number of medical and health care practices, systems, practices, and products that are not included under the term “conventional medicine”. Alternative medicine is defined as something that is used in place of traditional medicine, and complementary medicine is used along with conventional medicine. Massage therapy can be used as both, but is generally considered manipulative non-invasive alternative treatment done without drugs.
