It is surprising how fast e-books have become popular in 2011; at the same time it is also surprising how slowly e-books became popular. It all depends on your point of view: if you are a new author trying to sell an e-book the change seems like forever…if you are selling paper books the switch to e-books will reduce sales of hardcover and paperback versions. The last generation of physical paper book readers is now about to give way to the Kindle crowd.
